Work Study/ Marketing

Work Study department helps and assist students from ROP, "Regional Occupational Program" and the GAIN Program, (Greater Avenue for Independence) with basic work skills that they will need to know for a career that will be offered to them as they pursue in life. We offer training for the GAIN program that are working hard towards getting out of their subsistence income and in their future, hold a career to support their family. We also help guide the students meanwhile teaching them in their studies and honing their skills for a good work ethic.

Some of the General Skills that we offer are:
• Be on Time. If not, please call!
• General Computer Skills
• Typing Skills
• How to manage fax and copy machines, answering telephones in a proper manner, taking messages, dressing appropriately and writing resumes.
• GAIN and ROP students learn how to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Express.
• We also offer to help with math and grammar skills.
• On a Daily basis, WS has many tasks we teach, along with working.

Marketing is very important to IMI. WS helps in preparing paperwork for local events such as flyers, bulletin boards, and power point for the local community bulletin board on our local station. Marketing is an important instrument we use to portray an "image" of Include ME Inc. So our "message" reaches out to people all over the world with our web site. WS department collects pictures from various events, so they can be displayed on our web site. By marketing, we recruit our new and old volunteers for our various events. Who are the backbones of IMI.
